The result is a shortage of gas rifles set up to shoot across open ground rather than through doorways, which is exactly the gap this one fills.

The numbers tell the story: 820mm overall, roughly 2,335 grams, and a 370mm barrel at 6.03mm against the 270mm on the nine inch version. The extra length settles the BB before it leaves the muzzle, which is where the consistency comes from.

It is Double Eagle's own design rather than a licensed one, built in metal, polymer and steel, individually serialised, and feeding from a 35-round real-cap magazine. Because the gas system is MWS, the aftermarket for hop units, nozzles and barrels already covers it.

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Platform

AR-15 / M4 pattern

Action

Gas blowback rifle, MWS system

Outer barrel

13 inch

Inner barrel

370mm, 6.03mm

Materials

Metal, polymer and steel

Magazine

35rd real-cap gas magazine, metal and polymer

Fire modes

Safe, semi, automatic

Blowback

Yes

Serial number

Individually numbered

Finish

Black

Length

820mm

Weight

Approx. 2,335g

In the box

Item

Qty

Double Eagle G106 13" Rifle MWS

1

35rd gas magazine

1

Instruction manual

1

Good to know

A longer barrel rewards a heavier BB.
