The lower snaps into the RMX frame on the quick-click mounting system, which means no screws through the frame and no risk of cross-threading an aluminium insert. Taking it off again to clean or to go back to the standard lower is the same operation in reverse.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe material is deliberately soft. A malleable faceplate deflects and deforms instead of resisting, which is what raises bounce potential and is a large part of why a rubber lower is more comfortable than a rigid one across a full day.
