Exceptional Design and Features

Front-End Features

At the front, the SSR4 sports an alloy "vortex" style flash hider with a distinctive 4-prong design. This flash hider not only complements the rifle's tactical look but also includes 14mm CCW male threads for attaching a suppressor or tracer unit right out of the box.

Handguard and Accessory Compatibility

The handguard is crafted from high-density polymer, featuring a textured matte finish that suggests a strong polymer mix, possibly with fiber reinforcement. It includes M-LOK negative space attachment slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for M-LOK accessories or Picatinny rail adapters. Additionally, the handguard is equipped with QD sling sockets on each side for mounting QD sling swivels and a two-point sling. Receiver and Controls

The fire selector is positioned on the left side with 3 positions—SAFE, SEMI, and AUTO—marked with discrete recessed markings. This selector allows for fast mode changes with a 90-degree throw, and the internal MOSFET system lets you program additional fire modes like 3-round burst and binary trigger.

Magazine and Charging Handle

The magazine release is located on the right side, easily accessible in a firing grip, and is a push-through design. The SSR4 is compatible with standard M4/AR-15 magazines, although some drum mags may not lock properly. For extra capacity, we recommend using high-cap magazines. The charging handle is extended for easier use with gloves and retracts the mock bolt carrier to reveal the rotary HOP-up unit.

HOP-up and Barrel

The SSR4 features a rotary HOP-up unit paired with a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, offering excellent accuracy and range. The HOP-up is designed to accommodate 0.28g BBs, providing a stronger backspin effect and better resistance to wind, ensuring a flatter trajectory.

Pistol Grip and Stock

The pistol grip is styled after the "gunfighter" design, with a reduced grip angle for a more comfortable wrist position. Textured panels and a heat sink style baseplate made from alloy enhance grip and cooling for the high-torque Neodymium motor. The stock attaches to a standard 6-position M4/AR-15 buffer tube, allowing for extensive customization. Internal Upgrades and Battery Compatibility

Inside, the SSR4 is equipped with Novritsch’s "Pro Trigger" MOSFET system, allowing programmable fire modes and features such as adjustable pre-cocking and active braking. It includes a high-torque Neodymium magnet motor, CNC steel gears, and a version 2 gearbox for compatibility with aftermarket parts. The quick-change spring system and rubber dampening pad ensure optimal performance and durability. The battery compartment is located in the buffer tube and is accessible by removing the stock. We recommend using an 11.1V 1200mAh LiPo battery, though a larger battery can be accommodated with a Crane Battery Stock.
