The Karabiner 98k (Kar98k) was the rifle of choice, used by the German Wehrmacht (Nazi Germany’s unified armed forces from 1935 to 1945). This Mauser-manufactured gun remained the primary service rifle of the Wehrmacht throughout the entirety of World War II.
