- description
This is the regulator that threads into the neck of a 300 bar bottle and drops the stored pressure down to something a line can carry. DYE rate it to 4500psi / 300 bar and state it is compatible with HP systems and bottles generally rather than tied to their own.
The output is fixed, and that is worth being precise about because the name invites the opposite assumption. DYE specify a set output pressure of 500 to 650 psi with a tolerance of 50 psi either side — there is no dial to take it lower. If you need to set a working pressure for an engine, that happens downstream.
It is PI tested under EU TUV, which is the European pressure-equipment route rather than the American DOT one — the certification UK and EU fields will expect to see on a bottle assembly.

Frequently asked questions
Can I adjust the output pressure?
No. DYE specify this as a fixed-output regulator at 500 to 650 psi. If you want to dial a pressure, you want a second-stage regulator between this and the gun.
Do I still need a regulator on the gun?
For almost every HPA engine, yes. This one brings bottle pressure down to line pressure; the engine then wants its own regulator set to its working pressure. Those are in HPA regulators.
Will it fit my tank?
DYE state it is compatible with HP systems and bottles in general. If you are matching it to a bottle you already own, tell us which one and we will check before you order rather than after.
Is it rated for a 3000psi bottle?
This is the 300 bar part. DYE build a separate 200 bar version for 3000psi bottles — ask if that is what you need.
What else do I need to run it?
A line between the regulator and the gun, and the fittings to match both ends. Those are in HPA lines.
