Belts & Harnesses

The lightweight loadout option. Battle belts carry the same magazines, pistol, and dump pouch as a plate carrier — without the heat, weight, or commitment.

A battle belt is the minimalist airsoft loadout. Instead of a vest or chest rig, magazine pouches, the pistol holster, the dump pouch, and the radio mount all attach directly to a MOLLE-webbed belt worn at the waist. For speedsoft, indoor CQB, and warm-weather skirmish, the belt is often all the carry capacity needed — and you avoid the heat-trap, restricted movement, and visual bulk of a full plate carrier.

The setup is typically two-piece. An inner belt (often called a riggers belt) is a stiff nylon belt worn through your trouser belt loops — provides the structural foundation. The outer belt (the battle belt itself) is the MOLLE-webbed exterior layer that attaches to the inner belt via velcro or hook-and-loop closures. The outer belt holds all the gear; the inner belt holds the outer belt in place. Separating these means you can rip the outer belt off after a game without un-threading from trousers.

Suspenders and harness systems add upward support for heavy-loaded belts — if you're running four magazine pouches, a pistol, a dump pouch, a radio, and a tool kit on the belt, gravity becomes your enemy. A suspender system clips to the belt and runs up over the shoulders, keeping the belt from sagging during play. Brands include Viper Tactical, Warrior Assault Systems, and the tactical brand range. For the pouches that attach to the belt, see the dedicated collection. For the pistol holster that mounts to it, see the holsters collection.

💡 Titan Forge tip: Size the inner belt one size up from your normal trouser size. The outer battle belt overlaps the inner belt slightly, and you'll want room for the layering plus a base-layer or shirt tucked underneath. Belts that fit precisely measured to your waist end up uncomfortably tight when worn with rig and proper clothing.
