Eye Protection

Eye pro is not the place to save money. Every product here is rated to ANSI Z87.1+ — the only impact standard that matters for airsoft.

UK airsoft sites — including Skirmish Wycombe — require ANSI Z87.1+ rated eye protection at minimum. That standard means the lens has been tested to withstand a 6mm steel ball travelling at 300 feet per second. A BB at typical site velocity is well below that, with significant margin built in. Standard sunglasses, ski goggles, or cycling glasses don't meet Z87.1+ and aren't valid eye pro at any UK site. Everything in this collection does.

The Nuprol Battle Visor is the UK skirmish workhorse — single-lens goggle, anti-fog coating, available in Standard, RX (prescription insert compatible), THERMAL (dual-pane anti-fog), and RX THERMAL combined. The Battle Pro is the half-face style for players who want goggles plus integrated lower face cover. The Defence Pro covers the mesh option for players who prefer no lens at all — fog-proof by design but stops shrapnel rather than 6mm BBs at point-blank. The DYE i3 Pro is the paintball-derived premium option, popular in speedsoft for its wide field of view.

If you wear prescription glasses, the RX-compatible Battle Visor and Battle Pro use a removable RX insert frame — your optician fits standard lenses. Worth noting: at outdoor sites where biodegradable BBs are required, eye pro fogging is the most common reason players leave the field early. Get the THERMAL variant.

💡 Titan Forge tip: Pair eye pro with the right face protection — mesh lower face for skirmish, full-face for indoor CQB. Most site injuries that aren't eye injuries are tooth and lip impacts.
