Area-effect that doesn't burn. Reusable gas BB grenades, spring-loaded tripwire mines, and impact-detonated saturation devices for breach, room-clearing, and milsim ambush scenarios.

Grenades and mines fill the role that pyrotechnics fill at outdoor sites — area saturation in a room or behind cover — but use compressed gas and physical BB ejection instead of a pyrotechnic charge. The result is reusable (refill with gas and BBs after each detonation), site-legal at venues that don't permit pyro indoors, and significantly cheaper per use than single-shot pyro. The trade-offs are softer effect (no flash, no bang, no smoke) and the operational complexity of pre-loading each device.

Two main mechanism families. Gas BB grenades (ASG Storm 360, TAGinn, Nuprol Pro Grenade) are spherical or cylindrical devices preloaded with green gas and 30-100 BBs. Pull the pin or activate the timer, and the grenade releases its BBs through the radial vents on detonation. Some impact-detonate, some have fixed timers. Tripwire mines (Nuprol Claymore, Predator) clip to terrain with a fishing-line tripwire — when triggered, they fire a directional BB blast at whoever crossed the line, ideal for covering choke points and trail intersections during milsim defensive scenarios.

Site rules vary on grenade and mine use — many UK indoor CQB sites permit them where they ban pyro entirely; most outdoor sites permit both. Check site rules before buying. 💡 Titan Forge tip: Pre-load grenades the night before a game, not on the morning of. Filling a grenade with gas and 60 BBs in a darkened car park while you're trying to also kit up is the surest way to load it wrong, lose gas, and waste your money.
