Backpacks

How you get the kit to and from the site. Day packs for one rifle plus accessories; assault packs for milsim loadouts; gear bags for the full collection.

Every airsoft game day involves moving a substantial amount of kit from home to site and back again. A bare-minimum loadout — one rifle, two batteries, a charger, eye pro, a couple of spare magazines, BBs, water — already requires more than pockets can hold. A typical loadout doubles that. A milsim loadout might fill a 65-litre rucksack. The backpack is the often-overlooked but critical gear category that makes the rest of game day possible.

Three sizes cover most needs. Day packs (20-35L) are the typical skirmish carry — fit one rifle in a side pocket or external strap, room for batteries / BBs / lunch / water bottle. The default for casual weekly play. Assault packs (35-50L) are the milsim and full-weekend size — fits a rifle plus secondary, comprehensive ammo and battery loadout, hydration bladder, change of clothes. Loadout bags (50-100L) are the storage transport bags — fit multiple rifles, pistols, full vest/rig systems, and the lot. Used for carrying everything to a venue rather than wearing it on-field.

Features that matter. MOLLE webbing on external panels lets you add pouches as needs change. Hydration bladder compatibility matters for outdoor summer games. Rifle straps or rifle pockets keep the primary secured during transport. Concealment colours (subdued grey, OD green, black) for kit that doesn't advertise its contents on public transport. Brands include Viper Tactical, Kombat UK, Source, and the tactical brand range. For belts and harnesses that distribute load while playing, see Belts and Harnesses.

💡 Titan Forge tip: A backpack with an external rifle strap is the difference between transporting your rifle securely and gradually banging it against every doorframe between car and the safe zone. Spend the extra £15 — a damaged rifle's a much more expensive problem than an upgraded backpack.
