The stock is where the rifle meets your shoulder. And often where the battery lives. Pick one that fits both your shooting stance and your power needs.

An airsoft stock does three jobs at once: provides the cheek weld and shoulder contact point that lets you aim consistently, sets the length-of-pull (the distance from trigger to shoulder pad) that determines how the rifle fits your body, and on most modern AEGs houses the battery. A stock that's wrong on any of those three counts compromises the rifle's handling.

Four main stock families cover most builds. M4 crane stocks (Magpul CTR, KRYTAC SPR, Magpul UBR style) are the modern standard for AR-pattern rifles — adjustable length-of-pull, hollow buffer-tube interior for battery storage, the silhouette every M4 owner recognises. PDW stocks (Maxim CQB Mod 1 style) are the compact alternative — designed for tight-stowed CQB use, often non-adjustable to save space. AK-pattern stocks are platform-specific — folding side-folders, fixed wood stocks, polymer Magpul Zhukov-style updates. Sniper / DMR stocks (Magpul PRS, Accuracy International style) are the heavy precision option — adjustable cheek riser, length-of-pull, and butt height.

Battery considerations. Most modern M4 crane stocks are designed for 11.1V or 7.4V LiPo stick batteries in the buffer tube. PDW stocks may not have battery space — check before buying. AK stocks rarely accommodate batteries internally (most AKs use a separate battery bag or an external housing). Sniper stocks often have battery space but check the cell capacity it'll take. 💡 Titan Forge tip: If you've never replaced an M4 stock, this is one of the easier rifle modifications. Slide the stock off the buffer tube, slide the new one on, tighten the locking lever. The harder part is picking the right one — if undecided, the Magpul CTR pattern is the safe default for adjustable, has buffer-tube battery space, and looks good on every M4-pattern rifle.
