- description
Most of DLG’s buttstock line is built for commercial-spec buffer tubes. The TBS Sharp is the exception we stock: it is cut for the slimmer, square-backed mil-spec tube, which is what a good number of higher-end airsoft receivers are built around.
It is the heaviest in the range at 288g, and 50mm across the flanks, so it is a full cheek platform rather than a slimline. The angular body is where the name comes from — flat planes rather than the rounded shells of the older stocks in the family.
Underneath that it is the same DLG engineering: a moulded-in rubber butt pad that grips a plate carrier instead of sliding off it, a QD sling loop in the base, the two-stage latch that releases the stock from the tube on the second click, and a friction fit along the tube to keep the rattle out.

Frequently asked questions
Mil-spec — how do I know that is what I have?
A mil-spec tube is slimmer than a commercial one and the rear face is square rather than sloped. If you are not sure, measure the outside diameter or send us a photo of the back of your gun before you order.
What if my tube is commercial-spec?
Then this is the wrong stock and it will not go on. Four of the DLG stocks we list are commercial-spec — the FPT, TBS Classic, TBS Select and TBS Compact.
Does DLG make a commercial-spec Sharp?
They do, under a different part number. We stock the mil-spec. Ask if you need the other one and we will look at getting it in.
Is 288g a lot for a stock?
It is the heaviest in this range, by about 70g over the lightest. On a rifle-length build you will not notice; on a featherweight CQB gun you might.
Is there a non-QD sling point?
DLG specify the QD loop base on the mil-spec stocks. The conventional sling attachment appears on their commercial-spec models.
