The FPT is the heaviest and the widest stock DLG make in this family, and it feels it against a cheek — 50mm of flank rather than the 40mm of their slimline stocks. If you have ever found a skeletonised stock bites when you press into it, this is the answer to that.
Both sides carry a moulded fingerprint pattern, which is the detail DLG name the stock after. It is not decoration: a textured flank is what stops a stock skating across a plate carrier shoulder when you are moving.
Everything else is DLG’s standard buttstock engineering. A rubber butt pad is built in rather than glued on, so it grips body armour instead of sliding off it. The latch works in two clicks — the first releases the stock to slide, the second lets you pull it off the tube entirely. And the fit is deliberately a friction fit, which is how they kill the rattle most budget stocks have along the buffer tube.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my gun?
Only if your buffer tube is commercial-spec. Commercial tubes are slightly larger in diameter with a sloped rear face; mil-spec tubes are slimmer with a square rear. Measure yours, or tell us what you are running and we will check before you order.
Is there a mil-spec FPT?
No. DLG build the FPT in commercial-spec only. If you need mil-spec, the TBS Sharp is the one in this range that comes that way.
What does the two-click latch do?
First click and the stock slides along the tube as normal. Second click and it comes off the tube completely, which makes stripping a gun for transport or a bag a lot quicker.
How does it compare to the slimmer DLG stocks?
It is 75g heavier and 10mm wider than the TBS Classic. You are buying cheek comfort and bulk; if you want light and slim, go the other way.
Does it rattle?
DLG design the fit as an interference fit against the tube specifically to stop that. On a tube that is within spec it should be solid; a worn or undersized airsoft tube is a different matter and no stock fixes that.
