Pouches

MOLLE pouches are the building blocks of every loadout. Magazine pouches, admin pouches, radio pouches, utility pouches — each one attaches to MOLLE webbing and adds carry capacity.

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is the webbing system used on every modern tactical vest, plate carrier, chest rig, and battle belt. The MOLLE webbing is rows of horizontal nylon strips with vertical stitching every inch, creating a grid of attachment points. Pouches with matching MOLLE attachment straps clip onto this webbing, letting you configure your loadout exactly to what you carry. Every loadout needs pouches; the right pouches turn a generic vest into your vest.

Pouch categories cover specific needs. Magazine pouches carry M4 mags, AK mags, pistol mags — see the dedicated sub-collection. Dump pouches are open-top fold-out bags for empty magazines mid-reload — see the dedicated sub-collection. Admin pouches are flat zip-top pouches for maps, notebooks, small tools, and personal items. Radio pouches sized for the standard Baofeng and Motorola handheld radios used at most UK milsim events. GP (general purpose) pouches are the catch-all — square zip-top utility pouches that hold whatever doesn't have a specific home.

Brand and material. Common brands in airsoft include Viper Tactical, Kombat UK, Warrior Assault Systems, and the various tactical-supply brands. Material standards: 500D and 1000D Cordura nylon are the durable defaults; PALS webbing is the standard MOLLE attachment system; YKK zippers indicate quality. Cheaper pouches use lighter nylons and generic zippers — they work fine for casual skirmish but fail under milsim weekend use. For the plate carriers, chest rigs, and battle belts that pouches attach to, see the dedicated collections.

💡 Titan Forge tip: Plan pouch placement before buying. Magazine pouches go on the front centre or strong-side front (left of centre for right-handed, vice versa). Dump pouch goes on the weak-side rear (right of centre for right-handed). Admin and GP pouches go on the sides where they don't interfere with rifle handling. Buying pouches without a layout plan results in awkward placement and gear that bangs into your rifle every game.
