Buttstocks lead a hard life. They get dropped on, leaned on and used to brace against walls, and on a lever-action gun they also take the shove every time you work the lever against your shoulder. This is the factory part for the lever-action series, sold on its own.
It mounts on a 1913 Picatinny interface, which is the detail that makes it interesting even if yours is intact. The same interface that lets this one drop in lets an aftermarket buttstock drop in instead, so the length of pull on the gun is a choice rather than a fixed dimension.
The dummy bullet caddy comes with it. It does nothing mechanically and everyone wants it anyway.

Good to know before you buy
This is the buttstock assembly only. It is a replacement or a spare, not an upgrade to the gun it goes on.
Because the interface is 1913 rather than proprietary, the same slot will take a different buttstock if you would rather change the feel than restore it.
Black is the only colour the manufacturer publishes for this part.
A drop-in part still wants checking for a square fit before you load the gun. If you would rather it was done for you, our tech service will fit and test it.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit both the long and the short rifles?
The manufacturer lists it for the lever-action series rather than for one length. If you tell us which gun you have, we will confirm before you order.
Does the dummy bullet caddy come with it?
Yes, it is included. It is cosmetic.
Is it the same part my gun left the factory with?
It is the factory buttstock for the series, in black, sold separately.
How heavy is it?
The manufacturer does not publish a weight for this part, and the figures circulating on retail listings have been copied off a rifle record rather than a stock. Ask us and we will weigh one.
Can I shorten the length of pull with it?
Not with this part itself, but the 1913 interface it uses means a shorter aftermarket buttstock will mount in its place.
