A rear stock looks like a simple component but it does meaningful work on a rifle. It sets the length of pull (and so the shooter's reach to the trigger and optic), takes the shoulder load of every shot, and is one of the heaviest single parts on a typical AEG or HPA build. Replacing a polymer or solid-aluminium OEM stock with a carbon-bodied version drops weight from the rear of the rifle, which improves balance and reduces total carry weight across a game day.
Construction pairs a forged carbon body with 7075 aerospace aluminium fittings at the load-bearing points — the buffer-tube interface and any attachment hardware. 7075 is the high-strength structural aluminium grade, used where deformation under load would be a problem. Carbon takes the body load with its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio; the alloy fittings handle the metal-on-metal interfaces.
The rear contact surface is textured for non-slip shoulder placement — useful in high-tempo CQB where the rifle gets shouldered repeatedly and the stock can slip on slick kit. The profile is kept minimalist and snag-free, which matters when running tight through doorways or against vegetation. Aesthetically the forged carbon weave gives the stock a competition-style finish that ties into broader Strike Carbon builds.
Note: Strike Carbon produces this stock in additional finishes (3K Twill carbon and Gloss Forged Carbon), but currently only the Forged Carbon variant is in stock with us. Ask if you want one of the other finishes ordered in — we can check supplier availability.
