The Heretic Labs Carbon Fiber Stock is one half of the weight-reduction pair that defines the Article 3 build — the other being the 8” carbon barrel. Used together, they address both ends of the rifle with genuine carbon fibre construction, and the difference in handled weight is immediately noticeable compared to a standard aluminium stock and steel barrel setup.

Carbon fibre for a stock isn’t just a cosmetic choice. The material is lighter than aluminium for the same structural strength, and unlike polymer it doesn’t flex under load. The result is a stock that’s stiffer in use than most polymer alternatives, meaningfully lighter than metal, and holds its shape indefinitely. Milspec AR-15 buffer tube thread means it fits the MTW directly without any adapter.

For players running AEG platforms, the Heretic Labs 1” Drop Stock Adapter is required to achieve the correct mounting geometry — standard milspec buffer tubes on most AEGs mount the stock at a position that doesn’t suit the lower cheek weld angle this stock is designed for.
