Strip the graphic finish off a GRX and you have the Pro, which is the version most ZERO owners actually run. The frame is the same part: magnetic quick-change lens lock, quick-change storm unit, magnetic chin strap on a Fidlock buckle, modular dual-density foam and the same 1.5-inch dual silicone strap. The facemask is the same flexible TPR injection in the same two coverage sizes. Nothing structural has been removed to hit the price.
What changes is the box. The Pro ships with two C-SPEC lenses rather than three — a HighLight tint matched to the colourway and a clear LowLight — and the slip bag is plain rather than sublimated to match. The finish is a colour-contrast treatment: solid facemask and accents against a contrasting frame, often with translucent ear pads, instead of the multilayer graphic the GRX carries. If you were only ever going to run one tint and a clear, the third lens was never going to earn its keep.
Nine colourways reach us, and they are not all the same thing. Clear and Arctic are the pale frames; Timber, Gold and Grey read as earth tones that disappear against a British wood; Blue, Red, Orange and Purple are the loud ones that mark you out as a speedsoft or tournament player. The colourway drives which HighLight tint arrives in the box, since CRBN match the mirror to the finish, so the choice is marginally more than cosmetic.
Like the rest of the range this is a paintball goggle system that CRBN also list for airsoft. The lower-face mask is the part worth having: a pair of shooting glasses leaves your teeth in the game, and a dental bill costs considerably more than a goggle.

Good to know before you buy
The frame and the facemask are the same parts the GRX uses. Only the finish and the number of lenses change, and nothing structural was taken out to reach the lower price.
Your colourway decides which HighLight tint arrives, because the mirror is matched to the finish. The earth tones vanish against a British wood; the bright ones mark you out as a tournament player.
Purple reaches us in the less-coverage mask alone. Every other finish comes either way, so settle coverage before you settle colour.
Frequently asked questions
Pro or GRX?
The Pro if you want the ZERO frame for less money and are content with two lenses. The GRX if you want the third mid-tint lens and the graphic finishes. Both take the same masks, lenses and foam.
Will GRX lenses fit a Pro?
Yes. The lens lock is common across the ZERO range, so any C-SPEC lens fits any ZERO frame.
Does it fog?
It is a vented thermal-capable system rather than a sealed single-pane, which is the main reason to buy a goggle at this level. No goggle is immune, so keep the inside dry and do not wipe a warm lens with a glove.
