A lower faceplate is the cheapest way to change what a goggle looks like, and it is the part that takes the abuse, so swapping it is not purely cosmetic. The Terror uses HK Army's patented skull profile across the mouth and jaw — aggressive from the front, and unmistakable from across a field full of identical black goggles.
Fitting is four posts and a push. The lower snaps into the RMX frame on the quick-click mounting system, which means no screws through the frame and no risk of cross-threading an aluminium insert. Taking it off again to clean or to go back to the standard lower is the same operation in reverse.
The material is deliberately soft. A malleable faceplate deflects and deforms instead of resisting, which is what raises bounce potential and is a large part of why a rubber lower is more comfortable than a rigid one across a full day. The vent pattern is cut to move air across the inside of the lens, which helps keep fogging down, and to break up the echo that turns shouted calls to mush inside a closed goggle.
Two aluminium jaw plugs with the HK Army Icon logo come in the box and are what link the faceplate to the ear panels at the jawline. A universal Magtek magnetic chin strap is also included and drops into the integrated slots. The goggle frame and the ear pieces are not part of this kit — this is the lower on its own.

Good to know
What do I need to already own? An RMX goggle frame and a set of ear pieces. This is the faceplate half of a lower kit, not a complete lower.
What are the Smoke and Clear finishes? They are the translucent Ghost Series colourways — you can see through the material. Black and White are solid.
Does it change the protection? HK Army state the Terror carries the same ASTM paintball certification as the standard lower, so the swap is a styling and ventilation change rather than a protection one.
Can I reuse my old jaw plugs? Yes, and you also get a fresh pair in the box. They are the part people lose, so a spare set is never wasted.
Will it fit a non-RMX goggle? Not reliably. HK Army describe RMX components as interchangeable with compatible goggle systems, and they are explicit that RMX parts are not licensed or endorsed by any other manufacturer. Ask us before you buy one to fit something that is not an RMX.
