Thanks to its lithium manganese dioxide (Li/MnO2) chemistry, this lightweight cell provides reliable power over a wide range of operating conditions. The manufacturer-recommended temperature limits are -30°C to +60 degrees Celsius. Nominal output potential is 3.0 Volts with a typical current capacity of 81 mA/h.

Energizer CR1620 3V button batteries weigh just 1.3 grammes and feature remarkably low self-discharge of less than 1 per cent a year, giving a shelf life of up to eight years. Flat and circular, these cells are direct replacements for size codes 280-208, BR1620, DL1620, ECR1620 and L08. Battery diameter is 16 millimetres with a maximum thickness of 2 millimetres.
