PTS EPM-AR9 Magazine — 140 rounds for the ARP9 and the PX9, with a baseplate you can actually grip. The extended plate gives your fingers something to pull against, which is the difference between a clean reload and fishing in a pouch.

On a compact platform the magazine body sits almost flush with the well, which makes a fast reload awkward. The extended baseplate is the fix: it stands proud enough to hook a finger behind, so stripping a magazine out of a tight pouch is a pull rather than a pinch.

Capacity is 140 rounds, spring-fed, with a constant-curve feed channel. The shell is a reinforced polymer with the EP surface texture moulded in rather than applied, so the grip pattern does not wear smooth the way a printed or stickered finish does.

A see-through window and an orange follower give capacity at a glance, and the marking matrix on the shell lets you number magazines for a loadout. It fits the G&G ARP9 and the Classic Army PX9.

Good to know before you buy

At 258 mm this is a long magazine on a short gun. Check it clears your rig and your pouches before buying a full set.

It is an ARP9 and PX9 magazine, not an M4 mid-cap — it will not seat in an M4 well, and the two are not interchangeable despite both being 9mm-pattern guns.

PTS state this product is intended for airsoft, training and simulation use, and accept no liability for any other use.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my M4?
No. It is cut for the G&G ARP9 and the Classic Army PX9 magazine well, which is a different profile from an M4.

What does the extended baseplate do?
It gives you something to grip when you strip the magazine from a pouch. On a compact gun the magazine sits nearly flush, so that extra purchase makes reloads much cleaner.

How do I check it is loaded?
The orange follower shows through the window on the shell when the magazine is at capacity.

Is the texture painted on?
No, it is moulded into the shell, so it will not wear smooth with use.

How tall is it?
258 mm, which is long relative to the gun. Worth checking against your pouches.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Number the baseplates and keep your two best-feeding magazines for the first push of the day. Mid-caps vary slightly batch to batch and it pays to know which ones you trust. More in the PTS range and our rifle magazines.
