The choice between a red dot and a magnified optic is a false one if you fit a magnifier. It mounts behind your existing red dot and multiplies the sight picture by three, so the same rifle that works in a stairwell can identify a target across a field.

The key is that it moves out of the way. When you are indoors it swings aside and you are back to an unmagnified both-eyes-open sight picture in about a second, with no tools and no re-zeroing — because the magnifier does not hold the zero, the red dot does.

It mounts to standard 20mm Picatinny rail and works with essentially any red dot, including the Nuprol NPOINT RDS.

Good to know before you buy

A magnifier is not a sight on its own — it needs a red dot in front of it to work. Leave enough rail behind your dot to mount it, which on a short handguard can be tight. Only one remaining.

Do I need a red dot as well?
Yes. A magnifier has no reticle of its own; it magnifies whatever sight sits in front of it.

Does it affect my zero?
No. The red dot holds the zero, and the magnifier simply enlarges that picture. Swinging it aside changes nothing.

Will it fit behind any red dot?
It mounts to standard 20mm Picatinny, so what matters is having enough free rail behind your sight. Measure before ordering if your handguard is short.

Is 3x enough?
For airsoft distances, comfortably. It is enough to identify a player at range without the narrow field of view a higher magnification would cost you.
