Gas blowback guns are where a precision barrel earns its keep fastest. The gas system already delivers a consistent volume of air; what limits your grouping is everything the BB touches on the way out. Fix the hop, then fix the barrel, and a well-set-up GBB will shoot considerably tighter than most people expect it to.
These are Lambda's SUS304 stainless barrels cut to Tokyo Marui gas lengths. Same manufacturing as the AEG range - cold-hammer forged in Osaka, the bore compressed around a mandrel rather than drilled and lapped, held to 1 micron along its length, then hand-finished with a precision crown at the muzzle.
Three lengths cover the platforms most people are actually running: 97mm for the Glock 17, G18C and SIG P226; 112.5mm for the Hi-Capa 5.1 and 1911; and 250mm for the Tokyo Marui MWS gas rifle.
Both bores are stainless here, so unlike the AEG range there is no material decision to make - only how tight you want to run.
Which length fits my gun?
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| 97mm | Tokyo Marui Glock 17, Glock 18C and SIG P226 GBB pistols |
| 112.5mm | Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 and M1911A1 GBB pistols |
| 250mm | Tokyo Marui MWS gas blowback rifle series |
These lengths also fit a good number of clones built to Tokyo Marui dimensions, which covers a lot of WE, KJ Works and similar pistols. If your gun is not a Marui, measure your existing barrel before ordering, or send us the model and we will check.
Which bore?
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| 6.01mm | The tighter of the two. Best consistency, but it wants good BBs and a clean barrel - a poorly graded BB is more likely to catch. |
| 6.03mm | The safer all-rounder. Still a genuine tightbore, but more tolerant of ordinary ammunition and of the residue gas guns leave behind. |
On gas pistols in particular, 6.03 is often the wiser pick. Gas systems deposit more oil and residue in the bore than an AEG does, and a slightly larger bore stays cleaner for longer between strips.

Good to know before you buy
Match the length to your gun rather than guessing - the table above covers the three Lambda make, and getting it wrong means a barrel that will not seat. Gas guns run oilier than AEGs, so clean the bore more often than you would on an electric gun; a dirty precision barrel performs worse than a clean standard one. As always, re-tune the hop after fitting and chronograph before you play.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my Hi-Capa?
The 112.5mm barrel fits the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 and M1911A1. Note the Hi-Capa 4.3 uses a shorter barrel and is not covered by these three lengths.
Does it fit non-Marui pistols?
Often, since many WE, KJ Works and similar pistols are built to Tokyo Marui dimensions. Measure your existing barrel first, or send us the model and we will confirm.
6.01 or 6.03 for a gas pistol?
6.03 for most people. Gas systems leave more oil and residue in the bore than AEGs, and the slightly wider bore tolerates that better between cleans. Choose 6.01 if you run quality BBs and clean regularly.
Is the 250mm one for the MWS?
Yes - it is cut for the Tokyo Marui MWS gas blowback rifle series.
Will it increase my FPS?
It can slightly, through a better air seal around the BB. Always chronograph after fitting and confirm you are inside your site limit.
Should I upgrade the bucking first?
Yes. On a gas gun the bucking and hop arm decide how the BB is presented and spun; the barrel only governs how consistently it travels afterwards. Sort the hop, then the barrel.
