HPA Tanks

The tank is your air supply — capacity, weight, and pressure rating define how long you play between fills.

HPA tanks store compressed air for your rifle to draw from through the regulator. Two specs matter: size (measured in cubic inches, "ci") and pressure rating. Larger size means more shots per fill; higher pressure means more compressed air in the same volume. The trade-offs are weight, cost, and how often you have to top up.

13ci compact tanks (Tippmann, Empire) are the lightest option — pistol-belt-mounted, suit the Gate PTX or HPA pistol adaptors.

48ci 3k aluminium tanks are the entry-level rifle tank — lower cost, heavier than carbon, gives roughly 500-700 shots per fill depending on engine.

48ci 4.5k carbon fibre tanks (HK Army Alpha, Empire) are the speedsoft standard — lighter than aluminium, fewer fill-ups per game day.

68ci and 77ci carbon are for milsim and full-day skirmish — enough air for an entire game day on a single fill, at the cost of size on your rig.

Every tank we sell is UK proof-tested and within hydrostatic test date. Tanks have a service life — aluminium tanks & carbon tanks are normally 10 years from manufacture date — and need a hydrostatic re-test every 5 years.

💡 Titan Forge tip: For a first HPA setup, the sweet spot is a 48ci 4.5k carbon tank. It's light enough not to fatigue you, gives roughly 1,000-1,500 shots per fill on an MTW, and the speedsoft community has standardised around it — meaning fills are available at every UK site that supports HPA.
