The skeletonised cut of KAD's angled Hi-Capa HPA adapter. Same geometry, less metal — in black, gold or silver.

An angled adapter exists for one reason: to stop the magazine catching on cover. A conventional straight adapter hangs the mag square below the grip, which is exactly where it knocks against a wall as you peek. Angling it tucks the mag back along your forearm.

The Skelly is that adapter with material removed. Kross machine it from aluminium, then anodise and polish it. The adapter alone weighs 180 grams, and the body is cut so the magazine sits flush with your arm rather than proud of it — which is what makes sliding into a bunker and shooting over the top of it survivable.

The release button is aluminium rather than plastic, and the whole thing is built around one-handed operation for fast reloads.

Frequently asked questions

Adapter only or extra mag? Adapter only suits anyone who already runs EPM1-S magazines. The extra mag option ships with a TM Hi-Capa magazine so you have a donor to hand.

Does skeletonising weaken it? Kross publish no comparative strength figure, so we are not going to claim one either way. What they do state is the finished weight: 180 grams for the adapter.

Will it feed anything other than EPM1-S? That is the magazine Kross designed it around. Others may work but the fit is not something they document.
