The Article II ESG, angled, with the front gauge cut-out. For builds where the pressure gauge sits at the front of the grip base — in purple or red, with the ergonomic bulge.

The Article II moved the gauge position, and a grip that ignores that fact either blocks the dial or forces you to run without one. This version of the ESG is cut around it, so the gauge stays readable with the grip in place — which is the whole point of having a gauge on the gun rather than on a fill station.

Monk offer the Article II grip in two regulator forms: a Cat.5-style housing with the pressure gauge facing downwards, and a modified housing with the gauge at the front of the grip base. This is the version cut for the second of those. Monk state the grip is compatible with all ESG regulator housing versions.

Everything else follows the ESG pattern: the same angled geometry Monk use on their Article I grip, in the fitment the Article II needs. If you have moved up from an Article I and liked the grip, this is the equivalent part rather than a compromise.

Good to know

Monk categorise the ESG as an aluminium grip but publish no weight figure, and we will not state one we cannot source. The distinguishing features are documented clearly enough: the Article II fitment, the angled cut, and the front gauge accommodated.

What you are ordering. Monk build the Article II ESG in more configurations than we hold. These are the ergonomic bulge profile with the front gauge housing. Monk also make a no-bulge cut, a bottom-gauge housing and a straight profile, in black, blue and silver as well as purple and red. If you want one of those, ask and we will price it as a special order.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the front gauge version or the bottom gauge one? Look at your regulator housing. If the dial sits at the front of the grip base you want this one; if it faces downwards, you want the Cat.5-style bottom gauge version, which we can order in.

Which gauges does the cut-out clear? Monk do not publish a compatibility list of gauge models. If yours is unusual, send us a photo and we will check before you order.

What is the ergonomic bulge? The fuller palm swell on the back of the grip. Monk offer a slimmer no-bulge cut as an alternative; we stock the bulge version by default.

Will it fit an Article I? No. The two Articles take different grips.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: A gauge you can read without breaking your grip is a gauge you will actually check between games. See HPA regulators.
