Waldo Dynamics AAP-01 / G-Series Ion Nozzle Spring — Replacement nozzle spring for AAP-01 and Tokyo Marui G-Series pistols. Friction-reducing coating, increased tension over the stock spring, and the same slick mil-spec finish as the rest of the Waldo Ion line.

The nozzle spring is one of those parts you don't think about until it starts giving trouble. On both the Action Army AAP-01 and the Tokyo Marui G-Series Glock-style pistols, the stock nozzle spring is a known weak point — it loses tension over time, can cause inconsistent feeding under heavy use, and is often the first internal to fail on a heavily-skirmished pistol.

The Ion Nozzle Spring is the matching upgrade to Waldo's Ion Recoil Spring. Increased tension keeps the nozzle returning to battery quickly and consistently, even after heavy use in full-auto fire. The friction-reducing slick coating is the same finish used across the Ion line — it both extends the spring's service life and keeps cycling smooth as the spring loads and releases under pressure.

Cross-platform compatibility is a useful detail. The same part fits both AAP-01 and Marui G-Series pistols, so if you run both platforms in your kit you only need to keep one spring type as a spare. Drop-in install in both cases — no modifications, no fitting work, just swap the stock nozzle spring for the Ion.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: If you're seeing inconsistent feeding or double-feeds on an older AAP-01, a tired nozzle spring is more often the cause than a hop issue. Swap this in before you go chasing magazine problems.
