- description
The cylinder head is where the BOLT engine meets the rifle's cylinder, and it is the joint that has to stay airtight under the full working pressure of the engine. It is also the part that suffers when someone over-torques an assembly or runs the rifle with a tired o-ring, because the sealing face takes the damage first.
Tokyo Marui and JG cylinders are dimensionally different, which is why this is sold as two fitments rather than one universal part. Order by the rifle, not by the engine — the engine is the same in both cases.
If your BOLT has started losing pressure between shots and the o-rings are fresh, the head is the next thing to inspect. A hairline mark across the sealing face is enough to vent a full tank overnight.

Frequently asked questions
Which one do I need? Match it to the rifle. A Tokyo Marui VSR-10 takes the TM head; a JG BAR-10 takes the JG head. They are not interchangeable.
Does this fit the BOLT M? No. The BOLT M uses its own cylinder head, which is a separate listing and covers three platforms.
Is the o-ring included? No. Fit a fresh o-ring from the BOLT service kit whenever you replace the head.
