The BOLT M covers a wider spread of rifles than the original BOLT, and the cylinder head is how it does it. The engine stays the same across every platform; the head changes to suit the cylinder it screws into. That makes this part the one to order when someone moves their engine from one rifle to another.
It is also the sensible spare to keep. A cylinder head is small, cheap next to an engine, and the first thing to get damaged if a rifle is stripped in a hurry at the end of a game day.
The ARES Striker fitment is worth calling out separately — the Striker platform was added later than the VSR and BAR-10 options, and plenty of people still assume the BOLT M will not fit one. It will, with this head.
