The Advanced Series sits above the MK1 and MK2 in the Invictus line, and it is aimed at builds where the handguard is doing more than holding a foregrip. Heavier accessory loads, a bipod, a full-length top rail of optics and lasers — the Advanced is the one specified for that kind of use.
Ten inch is the length that suits most of those builds. Long enough to run a bipod well forward and still leave slots free behind it, short enough to keep a 10.3 inch barrel setup from feeling nose-heavy.
As with the rest of the family it free-floats off the receiver, so everything you bolt to it keeps its zero relative to the rail rather than to the barrel.

Can I mix Invictus parts between generations? The rails share a common receiver interface, but do not assume accessories or covers move across — check before ordering.
Does M-LOK hardware come with it? No. Bolts and T-nuts are separate, and worth buying in a ten pack if you are fitting several accessories.
