Not everyone wants an ambidextrous selector. A single paddle is one less thing to catch on a sling, one less thing to nudge with a plate carrier, and for a right-handed shooter it does everything the ambidextrous switch does.
This is also the part to buy when a selector has been forced. A switch that has been turned against a fouled detent picks up a flat spot, and after that it either overshoots the position or will not sit in it at all.
Three positions as standard. If your site restricts full auto, Wolverine build a semi-only switch that removes the third position physically rather than in software — ask and we will source one.
