Every HPA conversion needs something watching the trigger, and in a V2 gearbox that job falls to this board. It is small, it is cheap, and it sits in the one part of the rifle most exposed to grit, oil and the odd BB that has gone somewhere it should not.
Third generation matters here: Wolverine have revised this board across the life of the INFERNO, and the current version is the one to fit rather than hunting an original.
If a conversion has gone dead but the engine still holds air and the solenoid clicks when tested directly, this board is where to look before anything expensive comes out of the rifle.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know it is the board and not the engine? If the solenoid fires when triggered directly but not from the trigger, the fault is upstream — this board or the loom.
Does the V3 AK gearbox use this? No. V3 has its own board, listed separately.
Is the wire harness included? No. Harnesses are sold separately by length and gearbox.
