JT

JT — the Proflex goggle, and decades of paintball lens engineering behind it. A Kore Outdoor brand whose Spectra lens turns up well outside paintball.

JT build the Proflex, which is one of the longest-running goggle platforms in either sport. The shell is insert moulded so the section around the lens stays stiff while the jaw line stays soft, and almost every part of it — frame, nose, skirt, visor, ear pieces — comes off and goes back on separately. That modularity is why a Proflex tends to get repaired and recoloured rather than replaced.

The Spectra lens is the other half of the argument. Dual-pane thermal construction, a 260 degree field of view, and a silicone hard coat JT rate well above the industry standard for scratch resistance. The same lens fits their Flex-8 and Proshield, and JT specify it for the Tippmann Tactical airsoft goggle too, so it is an optic a fair few airsoft players will already have met.

What we stock

The Proflex LE Birthstone ICE goggle, in eight limited translucent colourways on the standard padded chin strap. More of the JT range is available to us and will follow.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: A full-face goggle is a different proposition from shooting glasses, and the jaw coverage is the reason paintball players put up with the weight. Compare it against the rest of our eye protection before you commit.
