Fitting a MOSFET protects the trigger contacts from the arcing that slowly destroys them, and a programmable one adds active braking, burst and DMR modes and a crisper trigger feel. Perun’s V2 Lightning range is designed to drop into a standard V2 gearbox — the most common type in M4 and similar AEGs — with options including an optical trigger sensor for the fastest response and a semi-only board for marksman builds.
