A ghost ring rear sight for the AAP-01. It reuses the fibre rods from your original irons, so you keep the sight picture you are used to.

A ghost ring is an aperture rather than a notch. Your eye centres the front sight inside the ring without you consciously aligning anything, which is why the design has stuck around on fighting shotguns for decades.

Kross have built theirs to take the original fibres out of your factory iron sight and carry them over, so you are not trading brightness for speed. You get the aperture and you keep the fibre.

It is printed in PLA+, which Kross describe as having better weather resistance and strength than conventional PLA.

Because it reuses your existing fibres, do not throw the original sight away until this one is fitted and you are happy with it.

Do I need to buy new fibres? No. Kross designed it around the fibres already in your factory iron sight.

Is a front sight included? No. This is the rear sight.

Is PLA+ strong enough for a sight? Kross rate PLA+ above conventional PLA for both strength and weather resistance. It is a sight rather than a load-bearing part, so the demands on it are modest.
