The AirTac Angled 2-in-1 HPA Adapter solves two problems at once. The first is versatility: most HPA pistol adapters are platform-specific, so if you own both a Glock/AAP-01 and a Hi-Capa, you need two separate adapters. This unit ships with both modular tops — the Glock/AAP-01 upper and the Hi-Capa upper — and swapping between them takes a single 1.5mm hex key and about 30 seconds. One adapter body, two pistol platforms.

The second problem is ergonomics. Standard HPA pistol adapters position the M4 magazine vertically below the grip, which adds significant height to the pistol's overall profile and can make holstering awkward. The Angled Adapter positions the M4 magazine parallel to the wrist — the magazine body runs horizontally rather than hanging down. This produces a dramatically lower overall profile, makes the pistol much more comfortable to holster in a thigh rig or drop-leg setup, and is ideal for the close-range ready position used in speedsoft and CQB.

The adapter body is impact-resistant and built for hard use. A reinforced ambidextrous magazine catch provides consistent magazine changes regardless of which hand your pistol is in. The magazine compatibility is optimised for PTS EPM, EPM1, and EPM1S magazines which give the best fitment and spring tension for this adapter's design.
