The VFC/Umarex MP7 is a compact, high-quality GBB platform — but gas magazines in a sub-machine gun form factor bring a particular set of limitations. Shorter magazines mean less gas volume, less buffer against temperature-related FPS drops, and faster mag-change frequency. The AirTac MP7 to M4 HPA Adapter resolves all of this at once: it replaces the gas magazine with a plug-and-play HPA unit that feeds from a standard M4 AEG magazine, significantly increasing ammunition capacity while delivering the flat, consistent FPS output that HPA is known for regardless of ambient temperature.
The adapter arrives fully assembled. The valve, feed lips, and NBR gas router are all pre-installed — no donor gas magazine needed, no assembly required. The gas router is manufactured to VFC MP7 specification, meaning it seals correctly in the MP7's gas route without modification. Both the factory VFC MP7 feed lips and aftermarket equivalents are compatible, simplifying long-term maintenance. Every unit is individually tested in a VFC MP7 platform before dispatch, confirming correct feeding, function, and consistent operation on the exact platform it is designed for.
The injection-moulded polycarbonate magwell is built for impact resistance and long-term durability — impervious to BB strikes at point-blank skirmish FPS in normal use. A swappable rear shim is included to fine-tune fitment across different M4 magazine brands, accommodating the dimensional variation between manufacturers. PTS EPM1 is the recommended magazine for best spring tension and feeding consistency, though most standard M4 AEG magazines will work.
Operating pressure sits comfortably at 90–110psi for field-legal outputs, with a 150psi maximum. The pre-installed US Foster fitting connects directly to any standard HPA line without adapters or modifications. The modular system allows configuration with alternative magwell bases if you want to run MP5 or shotgun shell magazines instead.
