Amarok AM190 — 190 rounds in a shell shorter than a standard mid-cap. The usual trade-off with a short magazine is capacity. This one keeps the capacity and loses the length instead.

A full-length mid-cap is a nuisance in tight ground. It catches on door frames, it digs in when you drop prone, and it stands proud of a chest rig in a way you notice by the third game. The AM190 M-Series is Amarok's answer: the M-Series shell cut down to a compact body that still holds 190 rounds.

That figure is the point. Most short mid-caps buy their length back by giving up sixty or seventy rounds. This one gives up almost nothing, so a compact magazine stops being a compromise you accept for the handling and becomes the one you would have chosen anyway.

Amarok developed it after the AM250, so the feed design is inherited rather than redesigned — a constant internal curve and a high-tension spring in a smaller package. It suits low-profile DMR builds, ultra-compact CQB guns and anyone who shoots from behind a barricade often enough to care what the magazine well is touching.

Seven colourways are available: Black, FDE, Pink, Purple, Red, Light Blue and Arctic White. Every one is the same magazine at the same price, so take whichever suits your rig.

Good to know before you buy

A short magazine sits lower in a pouch cut for full-length mid-caps. Worth a dry run with your rig before you commit to a set of six.

It is a mid-cap, so there is no winding wheel and no rattle — fill it, seat it, shoot it. That is the trade against a high-cap, and on a short body it matters more, because a wind-up mechanism is exactly the bulk you are trying to lose.

Running seven colours is more useful than it sounds. Colour-coding magazines by gun, or by BB weight, is faster to read off a rig than any marking system.

Frequently asked questions

How much shorter is it than a standard mid-cap?
It is the M-Series shell in a compact body. Amarok do not publish a length figure, so rather than quote one we would say: treat it as a short magazine and check it against your pouches.

Will it fit my M4?
It is built for M4 and AR-15 pattern magazine wells. If your gun is an unusual platform, ask us before ordering a set.

Is 190 rounds a lot for a short magazine?
Yes. Most compact mid-caps land around 120 to 130. The AM190 is close to full-length capacity in a shorter shell, which is the whole reason it exists.

Do I need to break it in?
No. It is a spring mid-cap with a constant-curve feed path, so it feeds from new.

Are the colours the same price?
Yes, all seven are the same magazine at the same price.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Keep your short mid-caps in the front pouches and the long ones at your side. The short ones clear cover faster on a reload, and the long ones are easier to find by feel. More in our mid-cap magazines and the full Amarok range.
