Consistency is the point. If your support hand sits an inch further forward than it did last magazine, your point of aim moves with it. A stop gives the hand something to find by feel, which is worth more on a short handguard than any amount of texture.
The large stop gives a positive shelf you can drive against when you pull the gun into your shoulder — the right choice if you shoot with hard forward pressure. The small one is a tactile marker: enough to feel, not enough to snag on a barricade. Which you want depends on how you hold the gun, not on the gun.
Both mount bi-directionally on M-LOK slots, so a stop can face either way. Reversed, the large one works as a rearward barricade stop rather than a forward hand index. The body is a high impact resistance polymer in a low profile.

Good to know before you buy
M-LOK slots only — not KeyMod, not Picatinny.
Two stops often beat one. Fitting one in front of the hand and one behind it brackets your grip from both sides and can do the job of a vertical grip with far less bulk.
Set it by feel rather than by measurement. Mount the gun with your eyes shut, see where your thumb naturally lands, and put the stop just forward of that. Measuring from the receiver gets you somebody else's hold.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the large and the small?
The large one is a shelf you can push against under recoil or forward pressure. The small one is a tactile marker that tells your hand where it is without adding bulk.
Which size should I buy?
If you drive the gun hard into the shoulder, the large. If you shoot with a relaxed support hand and just want a reference, the small.
Can I mount it backwards?
Yes. Both sizes are bi-directional. Reversed, the large one acts as a rear stop for shooting off a barricade.
Will it fit a Picatinny rail?
No, it is M-LOK only.
Can I fit two?
Yes, and many people do — one each side of the support hand.
