BLS Precision BBs — Gray (Very Heavy Specialist Weights, Non-Bio)

BLS is a dedicated precision BB manufacturer. Unlike general airsoft distributors who produce BBs as a secondary product, BLS's entire focus is on dimensional accuracy and surface consistency. Every BLS BB is produced to tighter diameter tolerances than most general skirmish BBs — a measurable difference that matters most in GBB pistols, precision AEGs, and high-power sniper platforms where BB inconsistency is a leading cause of accuracy variation.

BLS colour coding — what the BB colour means

BLS uses BB colour to signal the intended use case — not purely for aesthetics. Understanding the colour system makes selecting the right product straightforward:

Gray is BLS's colour code for the very heaviest weights — 0.38g up to 0.50g. These are specialist weights for the highest-power bolt-action sniper platforms operating at or near the maximum permitted FPS for bolt-action rifles at UK sites. At 0.50g, the BB requires substantial muzzle energy to achieve correct flight characteristics and is only appropriate for the most powerful permitted platforms.

Most pack formats at Gray weights are 1,000 count bags or 25kg bulk sacks — the 1,000 count bag being practical for sniper use where one bag covers multiple game days, and the 25kg sack for sites running dedicated sniper programs. Note that the 0.40g Gray and 0.43g Gray exist alongside the 0.40g Ivory and 0.43g Ivory — Gray denotes the heaviest tolerance production run at those weights.
