Kydex Customs 2″ Shooter Belt in coyote brown — the only colour offered in both generations. Choose Gen 1 with sewn MOLLE webbing or Gen 2 with a laser-cut outer.

This is the one belt in the range where you get to pick the generation. Gen 1 uses traditional sewn MOLLE webbing across the outer: slightly thicker, slightly heavier, and more forgiving of older clip-style attachments that want something substantial to grip. Gen 2 is laser cut through the laminate, which is flatter and lighter but wants modern MOLLE-compatible fittings. Neither supersedes the other; pick by what your pouches are.

Both share the same underlying idea. The inner belt threads through the trouser loops and carries loop Velcro on its outside face, and the rigid outer belt closes over it with hook Velcro inside. Locked together along their full length, they stop the rotation that makes a single-belt setup so frustrating once there is a holster on it.

Whichever generation you take, the closure is the genuine AustriAlpin Cobra at 4000lb, and the outer carries between 18 and 24 rows of attachment depending on size. Coyote itself is the most forgiving colour here — it sits happily against tan, Multicam, ranger green and even grey kit.
