The M4XIMUS rebuilds the AAP-01 around an AR/M4 magazine. Load a standard AEG M4 magazine, connect your air, and you get a pistol platform that carries and reloads like a carbine: the round count of a rifle magazine in a frame you can still holster. BBs travel up the left side of the kit in full view before feeding into the pistol, so a glance tells you whether you are fed.
This is a frame kit for builders rather than a drop-in upgrade. The body is nylon with 42% fibreglass paired with CNC 6061 aluminium parts, and the assembled kit weighs 310 g. If you want to carry it, the CTM GA Holster is cut to suit.
Plan the build around your donor gun. The kit deliberately leaves out the hammer housing, the hammer set, the upper locking button and its spring, the trigger lever and spring, the magazine release button and spring, and the magazine nozzle seal. Every one of those transfers across from the AAP-01 you are converting, so don't raid that donor for other projects beforehand.
It is a rewarding build if you are handy with internals, but it is genuinely a build: budget an evening on the bench rather than a five-minute swap.
