CTM Naviara TM Hi-Capa 5.1 CNC Split Slide

The Naviara name is drawn from yacht design language — "NAVI" for navigation and control, "ARA" echoing aerial smoothness. CTM's stated philosophy for the slide was to break out of the standard rectangular Hi-Capa silhouette and produce something with the flowing lines of a luxury vessel. Whether that lands for you aesthetically is personal taste, but the split-slide design is genuinely different from the standard slab-sided Hi-Capa slides on the market.

What makes the Naviara more than a styling exercise is what's included in the box. Each slide ships with an enhanced nozzle, a short stroke kit, and a set of upgraded springs — the internals that take a stock-feeling Hi-Capa and turn it into a competition-tuned platform. Other premium slides at this price point typically sell the slide as a bare upper and require you to buy the internal upgrades separately, which can add £40-80 to the total cost.

CTM put significant development time into the durability side too. Split-slide designs introduce stress points that monolithic slides don't have, and the Naviara had to be engineered around those rather than just made to look good. The 6061 aluminium construction is 140g (heavier than some competing slides — which is a feature, not a flaw, since added slide mass improves recoil feel). Seven colour options span the standard anodised range without venturing into premium electroplated finishes yet.
