Anyone who's stripped down a Hi-Capa has lost one of these springs at some point. The factory pins use a straight-section spring that releases the moment you push the pin clear — and that release means the spring goes wherever physics decides, usually somewhere you can't find it. CTM's redesigned version puts a reduced-diameter pinch at each end of the spring that grips the pin and holds it captive during disassembly.
Materials are an upgrade over stock too. The spring is wound from SWP-A music spring wire — the same grade used in instrument strings and watch springs, fatigue-resistant enough that it won't lose tension after repeated install cycles. The pins themselves are CNC-turned stainless steel, which won't corrode or pit if you store the pistol in a humid workshop or run it through a wet game day.
Direct-fit replacement for the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3 and 5.1 GBB platforms — and most TM-spec clones (WE, AW, Army Armament) use the same pin dimensions. If you do your own tech work, this is one of those £3 upgrades that pays for itself the first time you don't have to crawl around the floor looking for a tiny spring.
