- description
FN built the SCAR family around one idea: a single rifle that could be rebuilt around the user rather than the other way round. The H is the version special forces units kept reaching for when they wanted reach and penetration, and the replica carries the proportions honestly — stand it next to a SCAR-L and the difference is obvious across a room.
The licensing is through Cybergun, so the FN roll marks and the SCAR trade dress are the real thing rather than a close copy. That is most of why people choose this over a generic bullpup or an unmarked clone at a similar price.
The stock is the part you will actually use. It folds flat to the right for transport and runs through six positions of length, and because the hinge is part of the receiver rather than a bolt-on, it does not develop the wobble that retrofitted folding stocks tend to.

Good to know
SCAR-H magazines are not SCAR-L magazines. The H well is cut for the longer 7.62-pattern magazine, so a box of mid-caps from a SCAR-L will not drop in. Check the pattern before you buy spares, whoever you buy them from.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the SCAR-L we also stock? Calibre pattern. The H replicates the 7.62 MK17, so the receiver and magazine well are larger. The two do not share magazines.
Is the FN marking licensed? Yes, through Cybergun, so the roll marks and trade dress are official rather than approximated.
Does the stock fold and adjust? Both. It folds to the side and has six length positions.
Is the Tan the same gun? Mechanically yes — only the finish, the barcode and the price differ between the two.
