- description
This is the licensed Cybergun FN SCAR-L in tan — the colour most associated with the SCAR's desert deployments. Mechanically identical to the black version, it offers the same modular SCAR-L design with FN trademarks, but with a finish that suits a desert or multicam loadout and blends better on dusty, dry sites.
The full-metal Version 2 gearbox is fully upgradeable and runs standard M4/M16 magazines, making it easy to live with, while the folding adjustable stock keeps it adaptable and compact. A 300-round magazine is supplied to get you started.
What's on the outside
Tan furniture wraps the monolithic-rail receiver, ambidextrous controls serve both hands, and the side-folding stock adjusts for fit. The threaded 14mm CCW muzzle accepts the usual devices.

Good to know before you buy
Choose this one if your loadout leans desert or tan — it is the same capable, upgradeable SCAR-L, just better matched to a lighter colour scheme. As a realistic colour it needs a UKARA defence to buy.
Frequently asked questions
Is the tan SCAR-L any different inside from the black one?
No — it's mechanically identical to the black SCAR-L, with the same full-metal, upgradeable Version 2 gearbox. Only the finish changes.
Will my M4 magazines work in the tan SCAR-L?
Yes, it takes standard M4/M16 magazines, and a 300-round hi-cap comes with the gun.
What battery should I use in the tan SCAR-L?
The spec lists either a 9.6V NiMH or a 7.4V LiPo; always balance-charge a LiPo in a charging-safe bag.
Does the stock fold?
Yes, the SCAR-L Tan has an adjustable side-folding stock that sets length of pull and folds for transport.
Is it suitable for a left-handed shooter?
The controls are ambidextrous, so the tan SCAR-L works for either hand.
