The AK47 is the most recognisable rifle ever made, and the CM028 delivers it in the most accessible form: a polymer build dressed in faux-wood furniture that nails the classic look without the cost of real timber. It's a great first AK and an easy field rifle that needs nothing to get going.
As an entry-level rifle it's hard to beat for getting onto the field cheaply, and the AK action is famously tolerant — it keeps cycling in mud, dust and rain where fussier platforms choke. The full-size barrel also gives it useful reach for woodland engagements rather than pinning you to close range.
What's on the outside
It wears the familiar faux-wood handguard and stock with the curved 'banana' magazine, and the outer barrel is threaded so muzzle devices fit.
