- description
The CM045A is the wood-foregrip take on the AKS-74U: the same compact Krinkov carbine, but with a warm wooden lower handguard paired to a bakelite-style grip and magazine for a slightly different period flavour. It keeps all the short-carbine handling that makes the AKS-74U such a popular CQB AK.
Mixing a wooden foregrip with bakelite-style fittings gives this one a slightly earlier, transitional look that stands apart from the all-bakelite guns. Mechanically it handles exactly like its siblings — tiny, light and quick onto target — so the choice comes down to the aesthetic you prefer.
What's on the outside
A wooden foregrip sits below the gas tube, the side-folding stock collapses for transit, and a 14mm CCW thread caps the 250mm barrel.

Good to know before you buy
It runs the familiar Version 3 gearbox behind the short barrel, running a 500-round hi-cap on an 8.4V NiMH. A great-looking compact AK with a distinctive furniture mix.
