The RPK is the squad support member of the Kalashnikov family — a longer, heavier AK built to lay down sustained fire. The CM052 captures it in wood furniture, with the extended barrel and clubfoot stock that mark the RPK out from a standard AK.
The RPK was the Soviet squad automatic weapon, keeping AK commonality but adding a heavier barrel and bipod for sustained fire. In a skirmish that large magazine and support-gun presence make it brilliant for holding an objective or anchoring a flank where you would otherwise be reloading constantly.
What's on the outside
Wooden furniture and the RPK's longer heavy barrel give it real presence, and the high-capacity magazine keeps it fed for support-gunner duties.
