- description
The AKM is the Kalashnikov most of the world actually carried, and the Platinum CM056M is CYMA's premium recreation: a blued stamped receiver, full wooden furniture and a noticeably better fit and finish than the standard CM048 series, with upgraded internals to match.
If the standard AKM is the workhorse, the Platinum version is the one built to be kept — the blued finish and tighter assembly give it the feel of a collector's piece you can still take out and skirmish. It suits the player who wants their AKM to look and feel a clear step above the budget guns on the field.
What's on the outside
Full wood furniture sits over a properly blued stamped receiver, finished to a higher standard than the base AKM, with the AKM muzzle device up front.
