The CM098A is the more modern-furniture SR-25 in the line: a longer 14.5-inch rail for a forward-mounted optic and bipod, an adjustable cranestock for length-of-pull, and a 3-prong flash hider up front. It keeps the full 7.62-platform reach but with ergonomics closer to a contemporary precision build.
Like the rest of the family it uses the Platinum E-Edition gearbox with an electronic trigger, giving a sharp, reliable response that suits careful semi-auto shooting. A 600-round high-capacity magazine and a 9.6V NiMH keep it fed, and the V2 internals leave plenty of upgrade headroom.
What's on the outside
The 14.5-inch rail runs nearly the length of the barrel for flexible accessory placement, the adjustable cranestock sets your fit, and the 3-prong muzzle device caps it off. Flip-up irons are fitted as a backup.

Good to know before you buy
The longer rail and adjustable stock make this the most build-friendly of the marksman SR-25s. It is at its best picking targets at distance in semi, and it takes standard M16-pattern magazines.
